Does a Tony Cetinskiintervieweven require anintroductory paragraph,as oneusually assumesintroducing the person you talk to?Having just turned forty, he has managedto achieve many accoladesin his music career, if not everythinghe ever wanted. Numerous discographyawards, constantly sold-outconcerts and award-winning albumsare some of the elements thatconfi rm Tony Cetinski as one of “thebest”. Throughout my reporting career,I have known him for years andif I had to describe him in four words,they would be: temperamental, simple,funny and unassuming. And yes,we women certainly scream hard athis concerts because Tony sings somagnifi cently!DC: You are currently recording aclassical-music album. How did youcome across that idea?It is an album I’m creating for sheerpleasure and without any pressure.I haven’t set any time-limit, discography,market or fi nancial imperati-ves for myself, and it is actually quiteamazing how I’m enjoying this situation.The album will mostly featuresome famous Italian “canzonas”and several arias, which is the musicI grew up on before I fell in love withAC/DC. I selected the songs myself,and the album will also feature twonew songs written by Italian authorItalo Stabile. They were all orchestratedby famous producer andconductor John Cameron. I will notreveal everything about the album,but it will be a treat. The album’s titleis Da Capo, which would imply startingfrom the beginning music-wise.DC: You once said that your musicrefl ects your spirit. Success requires talent, plentyof work, persistence, love and someluck.DC: Would you refer to the two recentZagreb Arena concerts as thecrowning achievements of your career?The best part of the story is the factthat everything I’ve done over thelast fi ve years is referred to as thecrowning achievement of my career.That undoubtedly means I’mmoving forward.
