But a shorttrip to Velo Grablje is enough to take us to what the 19thcentury must have felt like, as our thoughts bring backthe Mediterranean of old that exists in the sounds andaromas of our early childhood.After merely several hours in this town, that original impressionof past centuries transforms into a timeless dimensionwhere the very aspect of time becomes irrelevant.Naturally, I am merely a reporter who is writing aboutpersonal experience and impression, but this encounterleft such a strong mark that it ceased being personal.
