6Quick set-up guideBattery performance• To keep the batteries in thebest condition, leave thehandset off the base for afew hours at a time.• Running the batteries rightdown at least once a weekwill help them last as longas possible.• After charging your handsetfor the first time, subsequentcharging time for thebatteries is approximately6–8 hours.• The charge capacity ofrechargeable batteries willgo down over time, whichwill reduce the talk andstandby time.
