<strong>Environmental</strong> <strong>Education</strong> <strong>Strategy</strong> 2009 - 2012Appendix 5 – Guidelines for Developing New Activities and ResourcesIn order for future environmental education activities developed by <strong>Council</strong> to bestrategic and targeted, there is a need to develop guidelines to direct their creation.Undertaking this will ensure that <strong>Council</strong> utilises its resources in an efficient andsuccessful manner, and that it appropriately and successfully engages thecommunity with the issue.The development of new activities should be undertaken in accordance with theguidelines outlined in the flowchart below.Gap AnalysisWhat are the existing environmental and sustainability topicscurrently addressed by environmental education?
