Connecting Multiple <strong>Water</strong> <strong>Heater</strong>sThe EZConnect cable is an optional accessorythat connects 2 water heaters and allows them tofunction as one hot water source.The MSA-2M and MSA-2S packs are optionalaccessories that connect 2 to 5 water heatersand allow them to function as one hot watersource.Refer to the instructions that come with theaccessory for complete installation information.Number ofConnectedAccessories Necessary:<strong>Water</strong> <strong>Heater</strong>s:2 (1) EZConnect Cable or (1) MSA-2M3 (1) MSA-2M and (1) MSA-2S4 (1) MSA-2M and (2) MSA-2S5 (1) MSA-2M and (3) MSA-2SGuidelines• Do not install both the EZConnect and theMSA packs because they are not designed tooperate together.• <strong>Water</strong> heaters connected with theEZConnect Cable or the MSA-2M and MSA-2S packs cannot be used for the bath fillfunction.• <strong>Water</strong> heaters should be installed less than 18inches apart so that the cables will reachbetween units and to prevent temperaturefluctuations (cold water sandwich effect) whenthe water is shut off and turned back on.• Temperature settings can only be changed onthe controller for the primary unit.
