NV9 USB Manual Set – Section 2 7 Insert a piece ofpaper, which isnarrower than thewidth between thetwo belts, in thecentre of the notepath to activatethe drive motor Use a lint freecloth dampenedwith water andcontaining a milddetergent (such asdish detergent)and hold againsteach drive belt asis turns.Insert paper hereRepeat this procedure until all dust and debris has been removed from both belts.Finally, use a DRY lint free cloth to remove any excess moisture and refit the bezel.The bezel is refitted by pushing the bezel back onto the locating pins and slidingbackwards until all six pins are engaged in the slots. The locking arms will then springback and locate into the bezel.Caution!Check locking arms.Always make sure that BOTH locking arms arefully located in the bezel – trying to operate thevalidator if they are not correctly located cancause transport issues or unit damageCaution!Do not use any lubricants.Do not lubricate any of the note transportmechanism, belts or any part of the note path,as this can affect the operation of the validator.Copyright © Innovative Technology Ltd 2012GA550-2
