NV9 USB Manual Set – Section 3 27The ‘ccTalk Key’ tab allows the user to enter a six digit security key for use when thevalidator is set for ccTalk operation.Enter the 6 digit key in thisbox, and then click the‘OK’ key to confirm.The ccTalk key is the HOST key, and is used for the ccTalk check – the validator mustbe configured to use the same key.CAUTION!Take care when changingccTalk keyThe user should make a note of the new key andafter any change. The default setting for the ccTalksecurity key is 123456.Select the ‘Language’ tab to change the preferred language for the software. Youshouldn’t normally need to change the language setting, as this is determinedautomatically based on the Windows locale settings.
