Mounted on the front exterior of the user interface unit are all interface tools forthe user. A backlit LCD display provides visual cues. Two buttons (green andred) on either side of this display as well as a white joystick below relay userinputs. The may appear crooked due to the placement of the holes in thejoystick module, but it is correctly positioned.The speaker attached to the text-to-voice unit is secure to the back of the frontpanel. A number of holes in the front panel allow sound to be transmitted to theuser.
