Mounted in front of the charger is the pumping unit. The pumping unit is theheart of the device. It is secured into the front panel with screws and nuts.Power to the pumping unit is provided via the controller and driver. Thesecomponents also translate commands from LabVIEW software into the signalsfor controlling the pumping unit. The barrel-shaped part of the pumping unit isthe stepper motor.
