5. MAINTENANCE ––––– 75In early period of use, the engine oil gets dirty rapidlybecause of the initial wear of internal parts. Replace theengine oil earlier.Engine oil filter should also be replaced when the engineoil is replaced.Engine oil and engine oil filter replacing procedures are asfollows.Remove the oil filler cap to drain easily while drainig theengine oil.1) Prepare a waste oil container collecting waste oil.2) Loosen the drain plug using a wrench (customer procured)to drain the engine oil.3) Securely tighten the drain plug after draining the engineoil.4) Turn the engine oil filter counter-clockwise using a filterwrench (customer procured) to remove it.5) Clean the engine oil filter mounting face.6) Moisten the new engine oil filter gasket with the engineoil and install the new engine oil filter manually turningit clockwise until it comes into contact with the mountingsurface, and tighten it further to 3/4 of a turn withthe filter wrench.Tightening torque: 20∼24N•m (2.0∼2.4kgf•m)The location depends on the engineinstalled on the machine unitDipstickOil panDrain plug
