PRODUCT OVERVIEW ––––– 232.4.2 Operation DeviceThe devices for starting, adjusting the engine speed, and stopping the engine are as follows.(1) Starter switchThis is 3-stage rotary switch.OPTIONPosition is changed by turning the key inserted to the slotof the starter switch.OFF: This is the engine stop position, and all electriccurrent is cut off. The key can be inserted andremoved at this position.ON: This position provides the normal operating condition.Current flows to instruments and alarm devices.START: This is the starting position. The starter motorrotates to crank the engine.The key returns automatically to the ON when itis released.HEAT: This position is used to energize the glow plugs.The key returns automatically to the OFF when itis released.Starter switchRemove your handfrom the key afterthe engine starts,and the key returnsto the ON positionby itself.
