The use of Parker shaftsleeves can prevent damage or provide an alternative toexpensive repairs.The Parker Quick Sleeve is an ultra-thin, chrome-platedstainless steel sleeve for shafts up to 7 inches (178 mm) indiameter. The low profile of the Quick Sleeve eliminates theneed for a change in seal size. It has a removable flange toaccommodate a variety of seal configurations and comes withan installation tool.The Parker wear sleeve is a metal ring which is press fiton the shaft to provide a uniform sealing surface. It is mostoften constructed of carbon steel with a special phosphatecoating in a flanged or non-flanged design.
