Standard Nitrile has poor resistance toozone, ketones, automotive or aircraft brake fluid, and steamor hot water. Standard Nitrile is recommended for operating intemperatures ranging from -20 to +250 °F (-29 to +121 °C)and offers good mechanical properties and abrasionresistance.FKM — FluoroelastomerFKM provides excellent resistance to oils, fuels and hydraulicfluids at temperatures that far exceed standard Nitrile. It alsohas very good resistance to flame and excellentimpermeability to gases and vapors. FKM is recommendedfor operating temperatures that range from -40 to +400 °F(-40 to +204 °C).Additional Materials AvailableThe Parker V-Seal is also available in other materials to meeta variety of applications, including neoprene, silicone andpolyacrylate.03/28/0612-3 Parker Hannifin CorporationEPS DivisionToll Free: (800) 233-3900www.parkerseals.com1212
