Go to Menu > F3 > Setup > Objects > Tray Types.2. Set the tray type.• If available, select a pre-existing tray type with geometry similar to the new traytype. Select Copy Tray Type and give a new name to the new tray type.• If not, select Insert Tray Type and give a new name to the new tray type.3. As needed, change Row Length X.4. As needed, change Col Length Y.5. Select the number of spots per row in Spl Per Row.6. Select the number of spots per column in Spl Per Col.7. Select the pattern of spots: Regular or Staggered.8. Press Esc twice to return to the Objects menu.9. Press OK in the ekspot Calibration dialog to re-initialize the spotter with the newconfiguration if this is the last calibration to be done.Change the Spotting Tip1. Click Change Tip in the Configuration tab of the ekspot Configuration dialog(Figure 5-2) to move the spotter out of the wash vial.2.
