Detailedknowledge gained within these audits is presentedin reports on the realized audits, which include alsoevaluation of conformity of complex geological outputsfrom SGIDŠ.Through the own internal and external audits thesystem and further processes were checked: Acceptanceand negotiation of order (offer), Creation ofcontract, Planning of the order realization, Purchase,Process management (project), Metrology, Marketingstrategy, Marketing planning, Creation of qualitypolitics, Creation of the goals quality, Planning of theQuality Management System, Responsiveness ofmanagement, Examination by management, Managementof human sources (education), Data Analysis,Management of documentation, Management ofrecords, Management of disconformities, Remedialactivities, Preventive activities, Audits of quality andMonitoring of customers` comfort, verified in terms ofapproved plan of internal audits in the year 2007.These processes in the course of July and December2007 were examined by “complex controlaudit of all processes“ by the Auditor from SGS Slovakia, spol. s r. o. There were carried out 2 internalaudits, 1 recertification audit and 1 control audit, which comprised control of all processes within theState Geological Institute of Dionýz Štúr. The objectivewas identifying conformity of realized and carriedout activities according to ISO, whether theseactivities facilitate creation of products acceptablefor a customer, and to suggest eventual improvements. We have not experienced any complaints bycustomers, which should pose a threat for the QualityManagement System.Sustainable good quality of the SGIDŠ output from thepoint of view of accuracy and legitimacy and as well asworthy results of interlaboratory tests, in which the SGIDŠlaboratories were involved, are closely linked with a systemof quality provision and control. This Quality ManagementSystem is elaborated in such a manner which enables tofollow individual steps of processed related to SGIDŠ andthus to minimize errors generation. The added value in theorganization is generated in the course of processes, andtherefore it is inevitable to apply the process approach in itsmanagement (ISO 9001 : 2000), accounting for structure, consecutiveness in performance, links among processesand support for information systems.State Geological Institute of Dionýz Štúr Annual Report 2007 33
