ECONOMIC-TECHNICALDIVISIONThe State Geological Institute of Dionýz Štúr is a state contributory organization financedfrom the State Budget through the Ministry of Environment SR. This affiliationis realized through contractual contributions for projects solutions, Geofond activity andDionýz Štúr Publishers, for state contracts projects solutions – research-technical projectsand other projects of the Section of the Geology and Natural Resources of the ME.The SGIDŠ incomes in the 2007 reached 180 mil. Sk. The main source were financesfrom the Ministry of Environment assigned for solution of scientific-technical projects andother projects of the Section of the Geology and Natural Resources of the ME and foractivities in the sphere of informatics, issuing publications and maps, for the GAL activity, sample and core recovery documentation, for Partial Monitoring System of environmentalgeofactors and Partial Monitoring system, part Waters, totalling to 135 782 000 Sk, solutionof other projects out of the State Budget and for the projects solved in the scope ofinternational cooperation. All-in-all it was 27 363 000 Sk.In the scope of control of the financial contribution spent for the above activities wehave to mention the contract between ME SR and SGIDŠ, according to which the individualactivities are appreciated in the form of person-months and through the estimationof the cost for carried out works related to particular activities financed from the contribution,i.e. common transfer. The other important source for returns are receiptsfrom investments (spare space lease, prevailingly) reaching1 830 000 Sk. Through these investments the commitmentof economised and effective utilisation of temporaryspare state property, which is administered by the StateGeological Institute of Dionýz Štúr, is fulfilled. The furthersource represent the returns reaching 15 178 000 Sk.The finances were utilised in the most economic andeffective way. This was reached also thanks to further importantprojects and finances acquired. In the previous year we managed to achieve a positiveeconomic result, although the minimum one, reaching14 000 Sk. We even managed to pay remunerationto our employees reaching 3 098 000 Sk comprisingalso the jubilee award of 317 000 Sk.In the sphere of investments the finances were spentfor purchase of software, prevailingly, reaching a sum of3,9 mil. Sk, for purchase of computational techniquealmost 4,3 mil. Sk, for machinery purchase 5,2 mil. Sk,for project documentation and related reconstructionand additional building of storehouses for sample andcore recovery documentation in Bratislava, totalling to 8 134 000 Sk. As a supplementarysource for repair and maintenance and reconstruction of building we spent 2 000 000 Sk.They were used for reconstruction of entry gate of SGIDŠ in Bratislava in BukurešťskáStreet and, finally we remunerated the loss from the main activity for the year 2006 totallingto 9 142 000 Sk. All these works were financed partially from reproduction fund serving asa complementary source, because SGIDŠ in the year 2007 didn’t receive capital transfer. Also in the year 2007 the Institute operated smoothly through the State Treasury System. The Institute entered this information system by July 1, 2004. The investments were providedcontinuously in accord with the mode of finances allocation, budgetary amendments and inthe scope of limits and consequent finance plans in the State Treasury Information Systemaccording to individual programmes and functional as well as economic classification.SGIDŠ budgetin the year 2007SGIDŠ real costsin the year 2007SGIDŠ returns budgetin the year 2007SGIDŠ actual returnsin the year 2007Contribution by the Ministryof Environment SRSpending of contributionSpending of contributionfulfilmentEconomic result 2007180 580 000 Sk180 478 000 Sk180 600 000 Sk180 492 000 Sk135 782 000 Sk135 782 000 SkNo. Budget Items Plan Status100 %14 000 Sk1.
