TOTALPAC2 Page 5 of 12TOTALPAC2 Integrated Fire Protection SystemSystem design & Dimensional Data2- Cabinet for Remote Controlled UnitThe TOTALPAC2 unit cabinet is made of sturdy 14 gaugesteel, measuring 36" x 20" x 57" (91,4 x 50,8 x 144,8 cm) for1½", 2" & 3" systems and 46" x 24" x 57" (116,8 x 61 x 144,8cm) for 4" & 6" for 4" & 6" systems (refer to Figure 1 fordimensions).All surfaces are rust proof coated, inside and outside, withfire red, oven baked polyester powder on phosphate base.Cabinet is provided with individual access doors for thehydraulic and electrical sections and the emergency releasewith a neoprene gasket to avoid vibrations.The field wiring electrical junction boxes is integrated with thecabinet for connection of All electrical components in the trim(pressure switches, supervisory switches, etc.) are factorywired to a terminal strip (TBA) for contractors field wiring.The junction box is provided with a cover plate maintained inplace by 4 screws and contains the wiring schematic on it'sinternal face.Junction box has 4 knock-outs for contractor field wiring.Gauges to indicate air, water supply pressure and primingwater pressure are all visible through clear Lexan windows.Multiple unit installations are easily achieved by manifoldingunits together at their water inlets but drains shall remainseparate and open.
