Please read below formore information.Form BasicsThere are two kinds of “form” files. One is a PDF file with fillable fields, which enables you to fillthe form directly by clicking the form fields without using other features. This is called anInteractive PDF Form. The other kind of form is a plain PDF file with lines and texts, which shouldbe filled with the typewriter feature in Foxit PhantomPDF. This is called a Non-interactive PDFForm.Interactive FormFor interactive forms, you will see a document message bar appear between the toolbars and theform itself. If you do not want to see it again when reopening this file, please choose Edit >Preferences > Forms > Always Hide Document Message Bar. To show it, redo the steps.The left side of the message bar typically informs you that this document is a fillable form. Theright side of the message bar has two buttons. One is a Highlight Fields button, which colors thebackgrounds of all blanks to be filled in and outlines any required blanks, making it easy to seethem at a glance. Click to it to highlight all fields or cancel the highlight. Another button is a closebutton.Acro Form and XFA (XML Forms Architecture) FormFoxit PhantomPDF now supports both Acro Form and XFA Form. You can fill in XFA forms with theHand Tool, the same which you were able to do with normal fillable forms (also known asAcroForm).Note: the Edit Form option in Form menu only available forNon-interactive FormThe document message bar will not appear.
