Installation Model 76002.6 Electrical Connections2.6.1 Power InletThe power inlet for the Model 7600 is located on the rear panel asshown in Figure 2-9. The proper 3-prong power cord has been suppliedwith your instrument. Connect the power cable to the power inlet.Figure 2-9: Model 7600 Electrical ConnectionsThe Model 7600 requires 100-240 VAC 50/60 Hz power.Avoid installing this instrument near an electrical unit thatgenerates electrical noise such as a high frequency furnace or electricwelder. If using the instrument near such a noise-generating unit isunavoidable, use a separate power line to avoid noise.Mount a noise suppressor such as varister or spark killer as shownin Figure 2-10 to the noise generating unit when noise is generated fromrelays or solenoid valves. The suppressor must be mounted near thenoise generating source, or it will have no effect.Teledyne Analytical Instruments 32
