Installation Model 76002.7 Testing the SystemAfter the analyzer has been installed with gas and electricalconnections but prior to powering up the unit make sure you have:• Installed the unit correctly• Checked the gas connections for leaksOnce the above checks have been made, you can connect the powersource and turn the analyzer on using the power switch on the frontpanel. Allow the analyzer to warm up for four hours.When the instrument is first turned on, you will see themeasurement screen. While in the warm up stage, the readings areinaccurate. They may even be above the upper limit of range, however,this is not an error.After the analyzer has come to equilibrium (approximately fourhours after first powering up) the instrument is ready to be configuredand calibrated for your process. Infrared Gas AnalyzerOperationOperation3.1 General InformationThis section describes the front panel interface of the analyzer.Figure 3-1 Shows the Model 7600 Infrared Gas Analyzer frontpanel. The user interface consists of 8 membrane switch buttons or keys,a power ON/OFF switch and a display ON/OFF switch.
