MikiashviliThe aim of the presented theme is to get the international architectural society acquainted withthe experience of reconstruction of the historical town Signaghi in the eastern province of Georgia.The reconstruction program of Signaghi, which started in spring 2007, in reality, constitutes asocially important large-scale project by Governmental structures and the Georgian Fund ofPreservation of Cultural Heritage in collaboration with private and public sectors.The significance of research is determined by the principles and recommendations for thereconstruction of small historical towns, which can be considered as an outcome of enquiry.79
