The Education of <strong>Automotive</strong> Engineers<br />
to meet the Demands of the 21st Century.<br />
The seminar will provide an opportunity for engineering educators to gain<br />
fresh insights into the current and future needs of industry with regard to<br />
technology and wider competencies, helping them to ensure the relevance<br />
of their courses and the employability of their graduates. This unique<br />
meeting will also be a chance for educators and industry employers to<br />
make connections and discuss common problems and challenges around<br />
the need for innovation in automotive engineering education. The current<br />
global economic crisis should be looked upon as an opportunity for<br />
universities and business to work more closely to increase cooperation<br />
while accommodating the core missions, values and needs of both.<br />
The seminar will be offered as a free benefit to <strong>Congress</strong> delegates.<br />
