Student and Young Engineers <strong>Programme</strong><br />
Students and Young Engineers are invited to participate in the special programmes offered alongside the 33rd <strong>World</strong> <strong>Congress</strong>:<br />
the <strong>FISITA</strong> Travelling Fellowship <strong>Programme</strong> and the <strong>FISITA</strong> Student <strong>Congress</strong>. To take part in either of these programmes, students<br />
and young engineers are encouraged to present a technical paper on one of the following topics:<br />
A Environmentally friendly vehicles<br />
B Vehicle design and Development<br />
C Test, simulation and calculation methods of vehicles<br />
and components<br />
D Safety on roads<br />
<strong>FISITA</strong> Travelling Fellowship <strong>Programme</strong><br />
Tuesday, 25 May - Friday, 4 June <strong>2010</strong><br />
The <strong>FISITA</strong> Travelling Fellowship <strong>Programme</strong> begins the week before<br />
the main <strong>FISITA</strong> <strong>Congress</strong> starts. The programme enables 20 outstanding<br />
young automotive engineers, under the age of 35, to take part in a<br />
special week long series of industry visits in Hungary, before attending<br />
the <strong>World</strong> <strong>Automotive</strong> <strong>Congress</strong>.<br />
The programme will include visits to Audi Hungaria Motor Ltd,<br />
Knorr-Bremse, Hungarian Suzuki Corporation and Nabi Limited. A<br />
number of cultural and recreational tours around Hungary will also<br />
be included. This is a wonderful opportunity for young engineers to<br />
make connections with their peers from around the world.<br />
The Travelling Fellowship registration fee is 600 EUR (OECD), 480<br />
EUR (non-OECD) including Student <strong>Congress</strong> participation. Travel<br />
(to Budapest and back) and accommodation costs are sponsored<br />
by the national <strong>FISITA</strong> member society. For further information<br />

<strong>FISITA</strong> Student <strong>Congress</strong><br />
Sunday, 30 May - Friday, 4 June <strong>2010</strong><br />
Students and Travelling Fellows are invited to attend and present papers<br />
at the Student <strong>Congress</strong> which runs alongside the main <strong>FISITA</strong> <strong>Congress</strong>.<br />
Authors can submit papers on any of the main congress topics as<br />
listed above. All papers presented will be published on the <strong>Congress</strong><br />
Proceedings CD ROM.<br />
As well as making contacts with other students from around the world,<br />
students will also have the opportunity to attend the main congress and<br />
network with senior engineers and industry figures.<br />
The Student <strong>Congress</strong> registration fee is 250 EUR. Travel costs are to<br />
be covered by the participant or the national <strong>FISITA</strong> member society.<br />
Participation is limited to full-time students (both undergraduate and<br />
postgraduate).<br />
Abstracts must be submitted by Friday 15 January <strong>2010</strong>. Further<br />

Prizes<br />
<strong>FISITA</strong> awards prizes for the three outstanding papers presented<br />
by students and young engineers at the <strong>Congress</strong>. The awards,<br />
presented at the Closing Ceremony, are:<br />
First Prize: 1000 EUR & Certificate<br />
Second Prize: 700 EUR & Certificate<br />
Third Prize: 500 EUR & Certificate
