Preliminary Programme - FISITA 2010 World Automotive Congress

Student and Young Engineers Programme
Students and Young Engineers are invited to participate in the special programmes offered alongside the 33rd World Congress:
the FISITA Travelling Fellowship Programme and the FISITA Student Congress. To take part in either of these programmes, students
and young engineers are encouraged to present a technical paper on one of the following topics:
A Environmentally friendly vehicles
B Vehicle design and Development
C Test, simulation and calculation methods of vehicles
and components
D Safety on roads
FISITA Travelling Fellowship Programme
Tuesday, 25 May - Friday, 4 June 2010
The FISITA Travelling Fellowship Programme begins the week before
the main FISITA Congress starts. The programme enables 20 outstanding
young automotive engineers, under the age of 35, to take part in a
special week long series of industry visits in Hungary, before attending
the World Automotive Congress.
The programme will include visits to Audi Hungaria Motor Ltd,
Knorr-Bremse, Hungarian Suzuki Corporation and Nabi Limited. A
number of cultural and recreational tours around Hungary will also
be included. This is a wonderful opportunity for young engineers to
make connections with their peers from around the world.
The Travelling Fellowship registration fee is 600 EUR (OECD), 480
EUR (non-OECD) including Student Congress participation. Travel
(to Budapest and back) and accommodation costs are sponsored
by the national FISITA member society. For further information

FISITA Student Congress
Sunday, 30 May - Friday, 4 June 2010
Students and Travelling Fellows are invited to attend and present papers
at the Student Congress which runs alongside the main FISITA Congress.
Authors can submit papers on any of the main congress topics as
listed above. All papers presented will be published on the Congress
Proceedings CD ROM.
As well as making contacts with other students from around the world,
students will also have the opportunity to attend the main congress and
network with senior engineers and industry figures.
The Student Congress registration fee is 250 EUR. Travel costs are to
be covered by the participant or the national FISITA member society.
Participation is limited to full-time students (both undergraduate and
postgraduate).
Abstracts must be submitted by Friday 15 January 2010. Further

Prizes
FISITA awards prizes for the three outstanding papers presented
by students and young engineers at the Congress. The awards,
presented at the Closing Ceremony, are:
First Prize: 1000 EUR & Certificate
Second Prize: 700 EUR & Certificate
Third Prize: 500 EUR & Certificate
