Welcome Reception
Sunday, 30 May (Free of charge)
The official welcome reception of FISITA 2010 will be held in the
GlobeHall at University Congress Center (UCC). All participants of
the congress - delegates, exhibitors and accompanying persons -
are invited to attend the official opening of FISITA 2010. While you
are enjoying a typical Hungarian evening you can meet your fellow
participants. You can also pick up your congress badge at the
registration desk.
Congess Concert
Monday, 31 May (Free of charge)
This organ concert has been arranged exclusively for participants of the
congress at St. Stephen’s Basilica in the city centre. The Basilica is one of
Hungary`s most beautiful and most significant churches. It was named after
the first King of Hungary whose incorruptible right hand is housed in the
reliquary. The neoclassical building at 96 metres high is one of the tallest
in Budapest and its southern tower accommodates Hungary`s biggest bell
weighing over 9 tonnes.
Gala Dinner
Wednesday, 2 June (Price 130 EUR per person including VAT)
The official gala dinner of FISITA 2010 will be held at the Museum of Fine
Arts. The millenary session of the Hungarian Parliament in 1896 passed
a law whereby art collections previously held in different institutions were
to brought together and placed in the newly-established Museum of
Fine Arts. The Museum opened in 1906 and its collection is made up of
international art including all periods of European art, and comprises
more than 100,000 pieces.

Farewell Reception
Thursday, 3 June (Free of charge)
All participants are invited to attend the Farewell reception (UCC) where you
can reflect on your experience in Budapest and make plans to keep in touch
with new friends.
