Integration DeploymentAn alternate setup, Figure 20, places Websense filtering components on a Windowsmachine separate from the Microsoft ISA Server machine. Integration DeploymentArray configurationWebsense software is compatible with most array configurations, including CacheArray Routing Protocol (CARP) arrays. If the Microsoft ISA Server machines in thearray can run Websense software without a performance impact, installing theWebsense components on one of the array machines is recommended. In thisconfiguration, the two applications do not have to communicate over the network.Install the Websense ISAPI Filter on each Microsoft ISA Server machine in the array.Figure 21 shows Websense filtering components running on a Microsoft ISA Servermachine, with Websense Manager and Log Server installed on a computer that hasnetwork access to the Websense filtering machine.Figure 21 Microsoft ISA Server array configuration #1Deployment Guide 73
