‣ Cardiac Anatomy & Clinical Case sessionsCardiac Anatomy 2012New state-of-the-art conference “room”These sessions were organised in the Poster Area (RoomCapacity 200)- Substrates of sudden coronary cardiac death(Overflow)- Cardiac anatomy for interventional cardiologists(Overflow)- Congenital heart disease in adults (Overflow)- Valve anatomy and pathology for imaging andsurgical proceduresBoth rooms were implemented in Village 10 witha new concept: Open area delimited by chairs andcurtains above the attendance. It was a 365° roundstage with 3 screens visible from everywhere.On stage, the chairpersons faced each other and thelectern for the speaker was in the middle.This kind of set up avoided overflows since the crowdwas around the area and could attend the session.It was positively perceived by both organisers(cardiologists) and the audience.mediAVentures managed to provide a very good qualityof sound which was the key factor for the success ofsuch sessions.‣ e-Posters & e-Slides (e-Library)Authors of traditional posters were invited to submit their posters electronically.
