‣ Industry and Exhibitor GuideThe Industry and Exhibitor Guide was available in each delegate‟s Congress bag providingthem with the list of exhibitors and sponsored sessions.‣ A few elements in the market researchAccording to the market research made, delegates‟ satisfaction on Exhibition is lower than thesatisfaction on the scientific programme or the organisation.Delegates‟ expectations are higher, the Industry partners need to improve their standcommunication. Here are a few suggestions to improve the exhibition experience at the Congress.Satellite SymposiaIn order to meet our Industry partners‟ requirements and to address the declining number ofsessions, we amended our offer and provided additional and more flexible time-slots while improvingour profit with a price increase.We removed mini Satellite Symposia and offered Satellite Symposia only with the choice of 45, 60and 90-minute slots at each available time-slot.The new time-slots have achieved our objectives by offering more flexibility to our industry partnersacross a wider number of time-slots while increasing our revenues.- Eleven 60-minutes sessions- Less competition on Tuesday afternoon during the same time slot. This is due to theaddition of the Sunday evening time-slot and the rescheduling of the later Tuesdayafternoon time-slot.- Increased number of evening sessions by the addition of the Sunday evening time-slot.39
