Служби на рухомі дні та празники поміщені в Тріоді. Тріодь значитьтри пісні. По-українському Тріодь також зветься "Трипіснець". В рухомідні седмиці належиться співати не повний канон, що складаєтьсяіз восьми (8) чи дев’яти (9) пісень, з двох, трьох і чотирьох пісень.24. Двопіснець складається із 8-ої і 9-ої пісні канона. Його співаєтьсялише на Утрені великого вівтірка.25. Всі три і чотири піснеці включають 8-у та 9-у пісні. Співається їхразом із іншими піснями канона в такому порядку:ДеньПісніпонеділок 1 і 8,9вівторок 2 і 8,9середа 3 і 8,9четвер 4 і 8,9п’ятниця 5 і 8,9субота 6,7 і 8,926. Тріодь співається на різні голоси а не ділиться на голоси як в Октоїху.27. Є дві Тріоді: Тріодь Постова (пісна) і Тріодь Цвітна (Квітна).28. Тріодь Постова, починається неділею Митаря і Фарисея, а кінчаєтьсяВеликою суботою. Тріодь Цвітна починається Великоднем і тягнетьсядо неділі Всіх Святих.29. Книга, що містить служби требів зветься Требником. Тут поміщенітакі треби як чини Вінчання, Парастасу, Водосвяття, Посвячення домута інших.30. До певної міри видання “Добрий Пастир” включає служби, чини тапіснопіння із всіх повище вичислених богослужбих книг.31. Треба мати на увазі, що немає якогось одного стандарту щодо точногозмісту богослужбових книг і тому бувають різні відхилення.Е) ПСАЛМИ1. Книга Псалмів або Псалтир, складається з 150 окремих псалмів. Псалмичитаються, чи співаються, у багатьох богослужбах. Часто там депсалми не читаються як такі, відчувається їх вплив на молитвословія.2. Приклади з Літургії:1. Перший Антифон: "Благослови, душе моя, Господа..." (Пс. 103)2. Другий Антифон: "Хвали душе моя, Господа..." (Пс. 145)3.Третий Антифон Великодної Літургії: "Нехай воскресне Бог" (Пс.67)3. На Утрені читаються або співаються Псалми 19, 20, 3, 37, 62, 87, 102, 142,148, 149, 150. (Добрий Пастир)4. На Вечірні читаються або співаються Псалми 1, 103, 111, 116, 119, 141.(Добрий Пастир)5. LITURGICAL BOOKS23. Services on movable days and feasts are found in the Triodion. Triodionmeans ‘three songs’. In Ukrainian the Triodion is also called the ‘Trypisnets’.On the movable days of the week it is prescribed to not sing the full canonthat is made up of 8 or 9 songs but 2, 3 or 4 songs.24. ‘Two Songs’ is made up of the 8th and 9th Songs of the canon. It is onlysung at the Matins service of Great Tuesday.25. All the ‘Three and Four Songs’ include the 8th and 9th Songs of the Canon.They are sung together with other songs of the Canon in this order:DaySongMonday 1 and 8,9Tuesday 2 and 8,9Wednesday 3 and 8,9Thursday 4 and 8,9Friday 5 and 8,9Saturday 6,7 and 8,926. The Triodion is sung in various tones and is not divided into tones as isthe Oxtoix.27. There are 2 Triodions: ‘Lenten Triodion’ and ‘Bright Triodion’.28. The Lenten Triodion, begins with the Sunday of the Publican and Phariseeand ends with Great Saturday. The Bright Triodion begins with Paschaand ends with All Saints Sunday.29. The book that contains all the services of need is called the ‘Book of Needs’.It contains such services for Marriage, Funerals, Water blessing, Blessing ofhomes and so on.30. To a certain extent the prayer book, ‘The Good Shepherd’, contains services,rites and hymns from all the above mentioned liturgical books.31. We must remember that there is no one standard to the exact contents ofliturgical books and this is why there exists different variations.F) PSALMS1. The ‘Book of Psalms’ or ‘Psalter’, is made up of 150 individual psalms. ThePsalms are read or sung at many divine services. Often in a service where there isno psalm sung one can hear their influence in the prayers and order of the service.2. Examples from the Liturgy:1. The First Antiphon: ‘Bless the Lord, O my soul….’ (Ps. 103)2. The Second Antiphon: ‘Praise the Lord, O my soul…’ (Ps. 145)3. The Third Antiphon of the Paschal Liturgy: ‘Let God arise…’ (Ps. 67)3.
