Operations Review – Generation DivisionEnergy Unit SalesThe total energy unit sales forFY2008 were 37,770 GWh,higher than the target value of32,860 GWh by 14.9%. ManjungPower Station contributed thehighest unit sales of 10,562GWh, followed by Paka PowerStation (7,426 GWh) and TuankuJa’afar Power Station (5,546GWh).Graph 11 shows the comparisonof energy sales by power stationsfor FY2007 and FY2008.Thermal EfficiencyGeneration Division’s overall netthermal efficiency was 37.9%, animprovement of 1.7% comparedto the target of 36.2%. Mostof the thermal plants exceededtheir targets. They were achievedmainly due to higher load factorof the plants.
