<strong>Windchill</strong> Properties Used to Configure Indexing<br />

Set the properties described in the following table using the xconfmanager utility<br />

to configure the indexing capability of your <strong>Windchill</strong> system. For xconfmanager<br />

details, see Using the xconfmanager Utility.<br />

All the properties are defined in the wt.properties file.<br />

Property Description<br />

wt.index.collectionName<br />

.encoding<br />

wt.index.collections Default: <strong>Windchill</strong>_Business_Collection<br />

Synopsis: <strong>Windchill</strong> collections.<br />

Description: This is a comma-separated list of collections that<br />

appear as choices when creating an indexing rule. A collection is<br />

information that is stored in a search engine's database, allowing for<br />

efficient searching of that information. The following properties are<br />

then used to define the collection, where is one<br />

of the elements from the comma-separated list of collections:<br />

wt.index..encoding<br />

wt.index..locale<br />

wt.index..rwareDocHandlerAddress<br />

wt.index..rwareLibName<br />

wt.index.enabled Default: true<br />

Synopsis: Enables (true) and disables (false) indexing.<br />

Description: Indexing should be disabled only for debugging.<br />
