The mansaid he was out of work and offered to sell his dead wife’swatch for $3.00. The man was bald and had a mustache. TheKensington man told police he bought the watch for his ownwife. The watch checked with the description of Stella Kale’swatch.Foley went to a drug store in Hampton Beach andnoticed a card of sun glasses with one pair of glasses gone,the same kind of glasses found near Stella’s body. He askedwho the customer was that bought the sun glasses. He wastold by the druggist that it was one of the barbers next door.Foley, playing a hunch, asked, “the bald headed one with amustache.’’ The druggist replied, “Oh, you know him?’’ Theowner of the barber shop, when questioned by Foley, said hehad fired him a couple of days before because he drank toomuch. Not only whiskey, but drank practically his wholesupply of witch hazel. An empty witch hazel bottle had alsobeen found near Stella’s body. The owner of the shop toldFoley the man had given his name as George Harrison.89
