The PASCAL ChronicleThe PSHE programme of PASCAL English School and Διιεληθή ρνιή ΠΑΘΑΙ is an integral partof the school curriculum which aims to promote awareness amongst pupils on a variety of personal, social, health and educational issues youngsters face. Some of the topics covered this yearwere animal cruelty, sport and hooliganism, anorexia, drugs and bullying.Which was your favourite PSHE topic this year?PHSE is a great way to express your own opinions about a certain topic, which allows for a greatdiscussion to take place. One of my personal favourite topics was volunteerism. I realised thatmany people have different opinions on whether or not we should do it which led to an interestingdiscussion with our teacher. However, I do feel the volunteering is a good idea especiallybecause we, as IB students, do a lot of it for CAS and we gain unbelievable experiences from it.It is something everyone should try at least once.Robyn Bridle 5IBWorkshop on dangers of drugsOn Tuesday 20 th March representatives from the Nicosia Police Department (YKAN) gave a workshopto Τear 3 pupils of PASCAL English School and Διιεληθή ρνιή ΠΑΘΑΙ Lefkosia.
