Communications may use one or more RTU ports. Examples of protocols used within telemetry include <strong>Kingfisher</strong>, Modbus and DNP3. RTU Acronym for Remote Terminal Unit. Describes a group of processor, communication and IO modules that comprise a device for monitoring and control of hardware and devices in remote locations.
