Miini-Bekkeri-Meeruse
Kõige jõulisemalt lõhuvad linnajao terviklikkust
Miinisadam, Bekkeri ja Meeruse sadamad. Miinisadam
on militaarala ning juba praegu plaanitakse
see koos Paljassaare sadama kõrval asuva
sõjalaevade sadamaga Tallinnast välja viia. Bekkeri
ja Meeruse sadamad ei hõlma üksnes rannaäärt,
vaid ka suurt osa sisemaast. Tegu on kaubasadamatega
ning kuni Kopli tänavani ulatuvaid
suuri alasid kasutatakse kauba ladustamiseks.
Lisaks sellele häirib sadama tegevus ka kohalikku
liiklust. Raudtee puudumise tõttu transporditakse
kaupu veoautodega, mis tekitavad müra ja
tõkestavad liiklust päev läbi.
Miinisadama ala asendatakse madala tihedusega
hoonestusega, mis suhestub kunagiste
muinsuskaitsealuste tööliselamute tüpoloogiaga.
Ajalooliste objektide paremaks esiletulekuks on
oluline ühendada need promenaadi võrgustikku
ning tagada elanike pääs mereni – nii on see ajalooliselt
varemgi olnud.
Bekkeri sadama ala iseloomustavad suured tööstushooned,
mis on ühtlasi muinsuskaitse all.
Praegu ladudena kasutusel olevad arhitektuuriväärtused
muudetakse ühiskondlikeks hooneteks
ning igaühele neist antakse vääriline funktsioon.
Uued elamualad jälgivad sadama struktuurile
omast skaalat, luues suurte sisehoovidega kvartaleid.
Planeering jälgib ka kunagisi raudteesihte,
millel oli sadama töös oluline roll.
Meeruse sadamale on iseloomulik tehislik maapind.
Lisaks kaile on tehtud sisselõikeid mandrisse.
Siinsed hooned võtavad eeskuju pikkadest
nelja-viiekorruselistest paneelelamutest, mis jäävad
sadama ja Kopli tänava vahele. Planeeritavad
hooned jälgivad looklevat rannajoont ning asuvad
otse mere ja maa piiril. Hoonete paiknemine rannaga
risti võimaldab kõikidele elanikele vaateid
merele.
Miini-Bekkeri-Meeruse
Bekkeri, Miini and Meeruse ports have the worst
impact on the homogeny of the district. Miini
port is a military zone and there are current plans
to move the port out of the city limits together
with the other military port at Paljassaare. Bekkeri
and Meeruse ports do not comprise only the
seashore, but also large areas of the inland. These
are commercial harbours and the vast areas extending
as far as Kopli Street are being used for
storing goods. Furthermore, the harbour activities
disturb the traffic. Without the railway, goods
are moved with trucks that make noise and slow
down the traffic.
Miini port area is replaced with low-density housing
corresponding with the historical houses that
once belonged to the upper-class workers of the
harbour factories. To present the buildings under
heritage conservation, it is necessary to link
them with the promenade. The local inhabitants
are granted the access to the sea as it was at the
beginning of the settlement.
Bekkeri port area is characterized by large-scale
industrial buildings that are under heritage protection.
These buildings, currently used as warehouses,
are reorganized for public activities and
each of them is given a worthy function. The new
apartment buildings follow the large scale of the
existing ones, creating huge building blocks with
vast central courtyards. The project considers
also the original railways which had a great influence
on the activities and spatial organisation
of the harbour.
uued hoonemahud
Meeruse port is characterized olemasolevad hooned by artificial landscape.
In addition to the quay there are also basins
cut into the land. Here the new
haljasala
buildings
promenaad
continue the existing long, 4-5-story prefabricated
buildings located between Kopli Street and the
harbour. The new buildings follow the serpentine
seashore and are situated right next to water. Perpendicularly
to the shoreline, they create panoramic
views for every apartment.
