Cultivating a lasting relationship with nature is made easy at Oakland
County Parks! With more than 65 miles of trails, two campgrounds,
three dog parks, two waterparks, five golf courses, two nature centers,
a BMX track and a county market, four seasons of family fun is
convenient for Oakland County residents and regional visitors.
Celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2016, Oakland County Parks and
Recreation is proud of its award-winning education programs, and
is dedicated to providing high-quality experiences that encourage
healthy lifestyles, support economic prosperity and promote
protection of natural resources. Hosting 2 million visitors annually
at its 13 locations, Oakland County Parks continues to be a premier
regional resource offering a wide range of recreational opportunities.
SPEND LESS, SPLASH MORE
Season passes are available for Red Oaks Waterpark and Waterford
Oaks Waterpark. Both feature wave-action pools, waterslides and
interactive water playgrounds with lounge chairs and picnic areas.
Oakland County Parks’ own Blue Water Grill concessions are available
at both waterparks as well as at Groveland Oaks campground.
TAKE THE TRAIL
Walk, jog or skate at Addison Oaks, Groveland Oaks, Highland Oaks,
Independence Oaks, Lyon Oaks, Orion Oaks, Red Oaks, Rose Oaks
and Waterford Oaks. Ride horses at Addison Oaks, Highland Oaks
and Rose Oaks. Addison Oaks features a Fat Bike Mountain Bike route in
conjunction with the Clinton River Area Mountain Bike Association.
