Shinobi ft LDizz - Like I Do
A raw lyrical creation taking you back to the underground vibe.
Despite London being hailed as the ‘home of grime’, MCs and
producers from outside the capital are moving in close to steal
the crown and it seems that Birmingham, Manchester,
Nottingham and Sheffield are the cities that everyone has their
eyes on.
The track sees Shinobi spitting bars over a merky Sticky Blood
instrumental that draws on the early days of grime, made up of
a racing backline and jerking synth fuelled beat. Shinobi’s
confident bars match his effortless delivery and LDizz slaps
down an energetic verse that collides with Shinobi’s, resulting
in you screw facing and head bopping along. The video, shot in
black and white, is set against a city backdrop, matching the
back-to-basics, raw vibe of the track. Expect to hear more from
Shinobi over what is going to be a great year for grime in the
Steel City.
