I. Provisions for Inspection<br />

The Animal Control Authority is empowered to make whatever inquiry is<br />

deemed necessary to ensure compliance with the "dangerous dog" owner<br />

requirements, including entrance on the owner's property for purposes of<br />

inspection.<br />

J. Sale or Transfer<br />

No person may sell or transfer possession of a "dangerous dog" to another<br />

person without first notifying the person to whom the "dangerous dog" is<br />

proposed to be sold or transferred, of the fact that such dog is a "dangerous<br />

dog", <strong>and</strong> of all requirements imposed upon the owner of a "dangerous<br />

dog" by this ordinance. No person may sell or transfer possession of a<br />

"dangerous dog" to another person without first notifying the Animal<br />

Control Authority, in writing, at least three (3) days in advance of the sale<br />

or transfer of possession.<br />

K. Failure to Follow Requirements<br />

In addition to any penalties imposed upon the owner, any "dangerous dog"<br />

shall be confiscated by the Animal Control Authority for failure of the<br />

owner to adhere to any of the above requirements, <strong>and</strong> shall be humanely<br />

euthanized by the Animal Control Authority at the owner's expense.<br />

9.0324 REPEAT DANGEROUS DOG ACTIONS<br />

If a "dangerous dog" attacks or bites a person or another domestic animal, the<br />

"dangerous dog" shall be immediately confiscated by an animal control authority,<br />

placed in quarantine for the proper length of time, <strong>and</strong> thereafter destroyed in an<br />

expeditious <strong>and</strong> humane manner, at the owner's expense.<br />

9.0325 LIABILITY OF PARENTS FOR DAMAGES CAUSED BY DOG OWNED<br />

BY MINOR<br />

If the owner or keeper of a "dangerous dog" is a minor, the parent or guardian of<br />

that minor shall be responsible for compliance with the specifications of the<br />

ordinance <strong>and</strong> shall also be liable for all injuries <strong>and</strong> property damage sustained<br />

by any person or domestic animal caused by an unprovoked attack by the dog.<br />

9.0326 FEEDING OF DEER PROHIBITIED<br />

A. Feeding of Deer Prohibited<br />

No person may place any grain, fruit or vegetable material outdoors on<br />

any public or private property for the purpose of feeding whitetail deer.<br />

B. Presumption<br />

There shall be a rebuttable presumption that either of the following acts<br />

are for the purpose of feeding whitetail deer:<br />
