Our Lady of Fatima promised during<br />
the apparitions in Portugal in 1917<br />
that souls who adored her Immaculate<br />
Heart would be “loved by God like<br />
flowers placed to adorn His Throne”.<br />
Parishioners at St John’s Cathedral in<br />
Portsmouth surrounded the Holy<br />
Mother’s statue with a dazzling array<br />
of beautiful blooms when they held<br />
their annual Day with Mary.<br />
Our Lady’s statue was carried in a<br />
procession into the cathedral before<br />
being crowned to mark the beginning<br />
of the day’s devotions.<br />
