Gloria Laycock is a psychology graduate with<br />
over 40 years experience of research and<br />
development in the criminal justice field. She<br />
was founding director of the UCL Jill Dando<br />
Institute of Security and Crime Science from<br />
2001-2010. She has acted as a consultant on<br />
policing issues in America, Europe, Australia,<br />
New Zealand and South Africa most recently<br />
the UAE.<br />
Biographical details:<br />
Branko Lobnikar, PhD, is Associate Professor and<br />
Head of Chair of Policing and Security Studies<br />
at the Faculty of Criminal Justice and Security,<br />
University of Maribor, Slovenia. As former<br />
police officer and police supervisor he serves as<br />
OSCE international expert in Kyrgyz Republic<br />
on community policing, was a member of<br />
management board of European Diploma in<br />
Policing, an international project of senior<br />
police managers training, a short time expert<br />
of Council of Europe in Albania and Turkey in<br />
area of maintaining police corruption and short<br />
time expert of DCAF (Swiss) on motivation and<br />
maintaining discipline at the workplace for<br />
police managers of border police from area of<br />
West Balkans in Macedonia and maintaining<br />
police corruption (Belgrade, Serbia). He<br />
has authored several papers on community<br />
policing, human resource management and<br />
police deviance management. Currently, he is<br />
involved in the study of police integrity.<br />
