KKKR5862 Kejuruteraan Sistem Proses<br />

Process System Engineering<br />

Kursus ini mendedahkan pelajar kepada pemilihan teknik dan penyelesaian di<br />

dalam Kejuruteraan Sistem Proses. Ia bermula dengan analisis Jepitan untuk<br />

integrasi penukar haba untuk pelbagai unit utiliti, pemisahan proses alitan,<br />

retrofit, integrasi dengan unit lain serta peminimuman air sisa. Seterusnya,<br />

kursus ini membincangkan simulasi dinamik dan pengunaan peranti<br />

yang bersesuaian untuk penyelesaian. Selain daripada itu, kursus ini<br />

juga memberikan kaedah penambahbaikan data dan penentuan ralat serta<br />

penggunaanya. Akhir sekali pelajar akan didedahkan kepada<br />

pengoptimuman proses untuk beberapa aplikasi seperti rangkaian penukar<br />

haba, loji kima serta kaedah penyelesaian terpilih.<br />

This module provides students with a working knowledge of selected<br />

techniques and slolution in process systems engineering and their<br />

application in chemical process design. It starts with a pinch analysis for<br />

heat exchanger networks to cover multiple utilities, stream splitting,<br />

retrofitting, integration with other units and its application to wastewater<br />

minimization. Then, it focuses on dynamic simulation of process flow<br />

sheets, including use of software. Another topic is data reconciliation<br />

and gross error detection and their applications. The final topic on<br />

process optimization covers several applications; including heat exchanger<br />

networks, flow sheet optimization and data reconciliation, as well<br />

as selected methods for solving multi variable problems.<br />
