dan keperluan tertentu yang megambil kira aspek kesihatan dan keselamatan pengguna serta alam<br />

Ability to design air conditioning and refrigeration systems based on the specifications and the<br />

needs of the applications which regards the health and safty of the user and environment.<br />

Keupayaan memahami dan mematuhi keperluan-keperluan kerajaan, akta-akta dan spesifikasi<br />

pelanggan serta membuat pertimbangan mengenai keperluan persekitaran di dalam penyediaan<br />

sistem penyejukkan dan penyamanan udara.<br />

Ability to understand and comply with government requirements, acts and specifications, and<br />

able to take into account environmental considerations in preparing an air conditioningand<br />

refrigeration system.<br />

KKKM4292 Tenaga Keterbaharuan dan Pengurusan Tenaga<br />

Renewable Energy and Energy Management.<br />

Kursus ini meliputi tajuk-tajuk seperti pengenalan kepada sinaran suria,<br />

kaedah pengukuran sinaran suria dan kegunaan data sinaran suria, analisis<br />

geometri sinaran suria, teori dan pengiraan kecekapan prestasi untuk<br />

pengumpul-pengumpul suria jenis udara dan air, pemindahan haba dalam<br />

pengumpul suria, aplikasi sistem tenaga suria. Bahagian kedua kursus<br />

ini ialah untuk memberi kefahaman dan pengetahuan tentang kecekapan<br />

penggunaan dan pengurusan tenaga, krisis tenaga dan pencemaran alam<br />

sekitar, peranan dan fungsi pengurus tenaga, kategori dan peringkat pengauditan<br />

tenaga, penjimatan dalam penggunaan tenaga di bangunan dan di industri seperti<br />

dandang dan sistem penyamanan udara. Pelajar juga didedahkan kepadan<br />

pengenalan kepada analisis ekonomi dan kewangan dalam pengurusan<br />

projek-projek penjimatan tenaga.<br />

This course covers topics such as introduction to solar radiation, solar<br />

radiation measurement methods and the use of solar radiation data,<br />

geometrical analysis of solar radiation, theoretical and calculation of efficiency<br />

and performance of air and water types solar collectors, heat transfer in solar<br />

collectors, applications of solar energy system. The second part of this<br />

course is to provide understanding and knowledge about the use and<br />

management of energy efficiency, energy crisis, and environmental polution,<br />

manager’s role and function, category and level of energy-audits, saving in<br />

energy consumption in buildings and in industrial systems such as boilers and<br />

air-conditioners. Studnets are also exposed to the introduction to economical<br />

analysis and financial management of projects in energy saving.<br />
