KKKR5952 Kaedah Instrumentasi Kimia<br />

Chemical Instrumentation Methods<br />

Kursus ini bertujuan untuk memberi pendedahan dan pengetahuan<br />

terhadap konsep kaedah instrumentasi kimia dalam melakukan analisis<br />

kimia. Ianya akan menekankan kepada teori asas dan prinsip utama<br />

instrumentasi kimia serta peluang untuk menggunakan kebanyakan<br />

peralatan yang didapati dalam makmal analisis jabatan menerusi kerja<br />

makmal yang diberi sepanjang tempoh kursus ini. Konsep umum<br />

reka bentuk elektronik seperti pendaraban isyarat, elektronik berdigit<br />

dan nisbah isyarat-terhadap-hingar peralatan juga akan dibincangkan.<br />

Reka letak instrumentasi umum setiap peralatan yang digunakan akan<br />

dibicara secukupnya. Pelajar juga akan diberi pendedahan menggunakan<br />

analisis instrumentasi terkini dalam penentuan struktur kimia, melakukan<br />

pengukuran kepekatan dan ketulenan serta menjalani proses jaminan kualiti<br />

dalam pengukuran instrumentasi.<br />

This course is intended to provide exposure and knowledge of the<br />

concept of chemical instrumentation methods in chemical analysis.<br />

It will emphasize the basic theories and main principles of chemical<br />

instrumentation and the opportunity to use most of the tools found<br />

in the analytical laboratory of the department through the authorized<br />

lab work during the duration of this course. General concepts such as<br />

electronic design such as signal multiplication, digital electronics and<br />

signal-to-noise equipment will also be discussed. The layout general<br />

instrumentation and equipment used will be sufficiently discussed. Students<br />

will also be given exposure using the latest instrumentation analysis<br />

in determination of chemical structure, doing the measurement of the<br />

concentration and purity as well as undergoing quality assurance processes<br />

in the instrumental measurement.<br />
