Cartooning for Peace is an act<br />
of resistance, engagement, and<br />
the courage to condemn the<br />
prohibitions and claim the universal<br />
right to free expression.<br />
This course will give students<br />
tools to experiment and reflect<br />
so that they can learn responsibly<br />
and with engagement. They<br />
will learn how to draw figures<br />
that move, and how to summarize<br />
an idea in a drawing.<br />

to digital painting and photo<br />
manipulation.<br />
In this class students will<br />
discover the process of drawing<br />
with a digital tablet and use<br />
photoshop to transform photographs<br />
using various methods<br />
and techniques.<br />
In addition students will learn<br />
about color theory, perspective,<br />
and the use of brushes &<br />
textures in Photoshop.<br />
