draw has been sent to the Music School Coordinator, Mary
Eileen MARIE, before the end of the current term. The last
week of each term is reserved to replace classes due to an
absence of the teacher.
No classes are given during school vacations.
The school reserves the right to cancel an activity in case
of insufficient registration, conflicts with other activities or
logistic problems.
To maintain children in a safe environment at school, students
require adult supervision at all times. Primary students in After
School Care will be escorted to and from their ensemble class.
All Music School classes are held on the school premises.

SCHOOLS OF MUSIC
La Grande Boissière is an examination centre for this worldwide
association. Students may prepare for 9 different levels
of performance tests ranging from the preparatory test, (corresponding
to one year’s study) to performance and teaching
diplomas. An external examiner conducts the tests and
writes detailed comments with suggestions for further improvement.
A certificate is awarded to successful candidates. All instruments
including voice can be presented. Students wishing to
go beyond the level 5 (Grade 5) must pass the corresponding
level in a theory examination. Detailed information is available
on the website: www.abrsm.org
Registrations are submitted approximately three months
ahead of time in consultation with the individual teacher and
the Music School Coordinator. Parents will be billed by the
school for inscription fees paid to the ABRSM. The Music
School will meet all other administration costs for these examinations.
