Power Skating<br />

Looking to take your game to the next level? Power skating helps to<br />

improve your individual skating technique as it relates to hockey or<br />

ringette. Participants must have basic skating skills. Full equipment<br />

including stick is required. Pucks and rings will be provided.<br />

Learning to Train<br />

Adrenaline pumping drills that enhance fundamental movement skills and<br />

power skating basics including:<br />

• Correct posture and stance<br />

• Learning technical skills such as tight turns, accelerated stopping,<br />

crossovers, forward and backward glides<br />

• Applying skating skills to game-like situations with puck/ring and<br />

hockey stick<br />
