Legacy Forest & Pollinator Habitat<br />
Centennial Park, 4000 Sherwood Drive, Sherwood Park<br />
An outdoor space featuring a pollinator habitat, native grass<br />
pathway, and newly planted trees in celebration of the 20th<br />
anniversary of Strathcona County’s specialized municipality status.<br />
Biodiversity Trail at the Beaver Hills/Cooking Lake Moraine<br />
52521 Range Road 211<br />
Connecting people with nature, this 2.5 km natural surface trail<br />
was constructed in 2015.<br />
Riverside Nature Trail<br />
Township Road 540. One trailhead at Twp Rd. 540 and Range Road<br />
232. Other trail head is west on Twp Rd. 540, about 1 km<br />
This 5.5km riverside nature trail runs along the North<br />
Saskatchewan River and was constructed in 2008 as part of the<br />
River Valley Alliance.<br />

Adopt-a-park<br />
Do you have a park, green space or cul-de-sac island near your home<br />
that you would like to take care of? Would you like to beautify your<br />
community, meet your neighbours and enjoy the outdoors?<br />
Volunteer for Adopt-a-Park and help keep your neighbourhood looking<br />
great. Remember that you must liaise with the Recreation, Parks & Culture<br />
department and need approval before you can plant, add to or change any<br />
