roots with a creative leap from her

innovative capsule collection will
draw you deep into the Peruvian fashion
world.
With over 30 years’ experience in the
designing and sewing industry, Chicago-based
designer Alicia Akers, is the ingenious
creator behind Alexandria Olivia.
After the birth of her daughter Alexandria
Olivia, Akers used the inspiration flowing
within her to create the world-renowned
brand in 2010, known as the “brand fit for
the modern day princess”.
With her muse in mind and determination
to push the limits of the fashion world,
Akers has become known for her luxurious
couture, and avant-garde pieces. Her
designs take a modern approach to classic
pieces using the finest lace, satins and
tapestry available. Handcrafted, the garments
ensure the highest quality and care
go into each design created.
The latest ready-to-wear Fall/ Winter 16
collection takes you into the depths of
the south with a unique twist on the typical
special occasion kids’ wear. Originally
born in Liberia, Akers draws inspiration
from her own influences. From the beautiful
dry desert of Africa to the hills of Peru,
the playful children’s wear will call to you
from afar, and draw you close.
