Every little one has an entrepreneurial
spirit. In some, it
may manifest itself into a lemonade
stand on a lazy summer’s
day. For others, though,
it may turn into something much bigger
than themselves. Mr. Cory is one
of these one-of-a-kind kids who has
created an exceptional business.
Don’t let his small stature fool you;
Cory is an avid and successful entrepreneur.
Prior to getting into the
cookie business, Cory had a few ventures
in selling hot cocoa and lemonade.
But now, at just 12-years of age,
he has already been the owner of
Mr. Cory’s Cookies for three years (a
whole quarter of his young life).
You may be wondering what drove
him to create his own business. The
answer is both smart and sweet –
Cory didn’t want to ride the bus to
school anymore, which sparked a motivation
to purchase his mom a car.
His mother saw how dedicated her
son was and knew that his ambition
would help him save up for college
tuition in the not-too-distant future.
The cookie that made his business
blossom into success was his perfect
chocolate chip cookie. After months
of hard work from both Cory and his
mom, they crafted a delicious, homemade
and all natural chocolate chip
cookie. Soon, more sweets and treats
were added to Mr. Cory’s menu, including
their sugar-free, oatmeal raisin
cookies!
