Zlinx Xtreme Serial Radio Modems
Peer-to-Peer (P2P) & Peer-to-Multi Peer (P2MP) Connectivity
for Serial Ports and I/Os
Zlinx Xtreme radio modems are ideal for outdoor applications requiring
Serial-to-Serial (RS-232/422/485) connectivity. You can also connect Zlinx
Xtreme Wireless I/Os to a Modbus RTU Master over a wireless network
for point-to-point/peer-to-peer (P2P) or point-to-multi-point/peer-tomulti-peer
(P2MP) connectivity. Zlinx Xtreme gives you the flexibility to
build a wireless network that functions under the worst conditions while
saving you a bundle of money over typical wired applications.
Easy to Configure Wireless Solutions include:
• Serial-to-Serial - connect two or more industrial serial devices together
• Remote I/O to SCADA - connect remote I/O devices such as
temperature, pressure, level, or flow sensors to SCADA or PLC device.
Wire Replacement for Remote Control and Monitoring
Zlinx Xtreme I/O modules are ideal for applications in harsh
environments that require monitoring and control of remote analog and
digital devices. Indoors or outdoors, the IP67 rated units are easy to
mount without the need for additional cabinets or enclosures.
You Also Have the Option of Two Flexible Configurations:
• Point-to-Point/Peer-to-Peer Mode (P2P) - Two identical I/O modules
can be used to replace expensive wiring or cabling applications. One
point will have analog and digital inputs which are then mapped to
corresponding outputs at other point.
