Fully Managed Fast Ethernet<br />
The N-TRON 700 series fully managed industrial fast Ethernet switches are<br />
affordably priced yet offer outstanding management and monitoring features<br />
necessary to simplify configuration and diagnostics. They are ideally suited for use<br />
as a Ring Manager or anywhere a managed switch is required. When used as a<br />
Ring Manager, N-TRON’s N-Ring technology provides detailed fault diagnostics,<br />
expanded ring size capacity, and ~30ms ring healing. Industrial hardened<br />
construction and -40˚C to 70˚C operating temperature allow use in the harshest<br />
environments. UL Listed for Class I, Division 2 Hazardous locations, and EN50155<br />
certified for railway applications. In addition to ATEX Type Certification, the<br />
708TX and 708FX2 are ABS and DNV Type approved for maritime environments.<br />
Common Industrial Protocol (CIP) Messaging<br />
EtherNet/IP, better known as Common<br />
Industrial Protocol (CIP), was designed to<br />
eliminate the need for vendor specific device<br />
software and provide consistent device access,<br />
management and monitoring in process control<br />
and industrial automation applications. CIP tags,<br />
sample projects, and diagnostic faceplates for<br />
FactoryTalk® View ME software (requires<br />
RSLogix 5000 version 17 and higher) allow<br />
quick setup and configuration in RSLogix 5000<br />
environments. With CIP messaging, N-TRON<br />
switches can deliver information and<br />
configuration access directly to PLCs and HMI's.<br />
Switch status, trending and configuration are<br />
easily viewed from PanelView Plus with 640x480<br />
and higher screen resolutions, or access tagged<br />
data from ladder logic programs.<br />
